The Chronicles of San Diego Podcast: Sophie Wolfram Returns with Climate Action Campaign Updates
Welcome back to the Chronicles of San Diego Podcast!
This is a show all about San Diego and the various different individuals, institutions, events, civic and cultural issues that represent the spirit of America’s Finest City.
Back in early July I sat down with Sophie Wolfram and was treated to a pretty comprehensive introduction to the Climate Action Campaign. Sophie works as the Director of Programs at CAC and the work the organization does in the city of San Diego and the surrounding region is vitally important to ensuring we still have a place to call home for generations to come.
I went back to CAC HQ to catch up on what’s been a busy summer for Sophie and her colleagues. We talk about some of the challenges we have with Community Plan Updates around town, transportation master plans, community choice energy aggregation and so much more, as well as some of the victories that the Climate Action Campaign can point towards in recent weeks and on the horizon too.
